John Spoulos
Lessons Instructor
John Spoulos has taught music for 53 years. During that time, he has taught some of music’s finest players (Zakke Wylde, Dave Sabo). In addition, he has taught 2 Grammy Nominee students as well as countless performers. A student of famed guitarists Christopher Parkening, Andres Segovia, and Lee Ritenhour, John has taught all major styles, including arranging, theory, composition, and songwriting. While all styles of lessons are taught on the instruments he teaches, he is a strong advocate of teaching to what a student wishes to learn. The best way to teach is to envelope the style of the student. In this way, it allows for accomplishment and enjoyment in learning. The one-on-one sessions are developed to allow the student to receive training in all the styles as well as chord arranging, soloing, and ear training to develop musicianship and style.
